My name is Tom Gamberzky. I've been collecting bluegrass stuff for the
past few years and decided it was time to get organized. In the
process, I thought it might be fun to build a couple of pages to share some pictures
with other folks who might be interested. I'm not selling
anything - it's just for fun.
Everything shown here is in my collection. Some items are originals, some are reproductions, and some I can't tell for sure. I'm mostly interested in the music made by first generation bluegrassers, especially Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, and the Stanley Brothers. To me, the ultimate bluegrass band would have the drive of Monroe, the three T's of Flatt & Scruggs (Tone, Taste, Timing), and the soul of the Stanley Brothers. Now, that's not too much to ask for, is it? Of course, I like other artists too! (I even listen to other kinds of music sometimes, but don't tell anybody). I'm a rhythm guitar player, and at times - in the privacy of my own home - I pretend to play banjo. On a good day, I can play a really mediocre Fire Ball Mail. In real life, I'm a systems guy at a major brokerage. I'm always looking to add to my collection. If you have something you think I might be interested in, drop me a line at the email address below.
